The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) and the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), observed McHenry's basketball team edge Central by a score of 68-67.

The Warriors (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Hudson edged Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI), 82-69, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets encounter the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Central will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
