The Westlake Wolverines basketball squad (Waldorf, MD), was nudged 49-47 in Friday's league battle with the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD)

With the victory, La Plata advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Warriors host Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to meet the Cougars in a Southern Maryland battle on Wednesday, February 12. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 4-14.

The Wolverines now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles for a Southern Maryland battle on Wednesday, February 12.
