The Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) basketball crushed the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), 85-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Porters now possess a 18-9 record. They play next when they host Sandburg for a SouthWest Suburban bout on Tuesday, February 11. Lockport will play a Eagles team coming off a 59-53 league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-13.

With the loss, Shepard falls to 10-16 on the campaign. The Astros travel to Kennedy (Chicago, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 8-16. Kennedy lost 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Prosser (Chicago, IL)
