New Mexico High School Basketball - West Mesa overwhelms Los Lunas
February 7, 2025: Los Lunas, NM 87031 The West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Los Lunas Tigers to 51 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Grande for a 5A District 5 game on Tuesday, February 11. West Mesa will confront a Ravens team coming off a 40-36 league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 3-19.
With the loss, Los Lunas falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A District 5 game on Monday, February 10. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 12-10. Atrisco Heritage Academy lost 72-51 in their recent league game against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM)
