January 21, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87121 The Los Lunas Tigers basketball squad (Los Lunas, NM), was nudged 48-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM)
With the victory, West Mesa advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Ravens in a 5A District 5 test on Friday, January 24. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 3-14. Rio Grande lost 62-42 in their recent non-league test against Melrose (Melrose, NM)
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 5 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Atrisco Heritage Academy was nipped by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 74-57, in a league test.
