February 7, 2025: Monroe, CT 06468 Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), 72-63 in a league match.
With the victory, Pomperaug upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bunnell (Stratford, CT) to face the Bulldogs in a Southwest match on Monday, February 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-3. Bunnell lost 72-66 in their recent non-league match against Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
The Panthers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joel Barlow for a Southwest match on Monday, February 10. Masuk will face a Falcons squad coming off a 63-36 league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 3-13.
