Illinois High School Basketball - Peotone fells Reed-Custer
February 7, 2025: Braidwood, IL 60408 The Peotone Blue Devils basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Reed-Custer Comets to 44 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now have a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Manteno for a Illinois Central 8 game on Tuesday, February 11. Peotone will confront a Panthers team coming off a 41-33 league win over Streator (Streator, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 17-11.
With the loss, Reed-Custer falls to 8-18 on the campaign. The Comets host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 14-11. Beecher won 66-33 in their recent non-league game against Momence (Momence, IL)
