Illinois High School Basketball - Manteno holds off Peotone
February 11, 2025: Manteno, IL 60950 The Manteno Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Peotone Blue Devils to 58 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to Herscher for a Illinois Central 8 game on Friday, February 14. Manteno will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-16.
With the loss, Peotone falls to 12-13 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a Illinois Central 8 game on Friday, February 14.
