The Unioto Shermans basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Piketon Redstreaks to 50 in the Shermans league triumph on Friday.

The Shermans now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Amanda-Clearcreek for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Unioto will confront a Aces team coming off a 49-30 league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Aces record now stands at 3-18.

With the loss, Piketon falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Redstreaks travel to Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH) to confront the Senators in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Senators go into the game with a record of 10-10. Portsmouth West won 56-51 in their recent non-league game against Northwest (McDermott, OH)
