In Friday's league test, the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA), by a final score of 50-27.

Next, the Tigers clash with the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Neville will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 9-15 record after their 64-8 league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA).

The Lions (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats come into the 5A District 2 test with a 11-13 record.
