In Friday's league outing, the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Albany Falcons (Albany, NY), by a margin of 78-69.

The Crusaders (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against LaSalle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets go into the Section 2 Big Ten outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, LaSalle Institute was beaten by Schenectady (Schenectady, NY), 71-65, in a league outing.

The Falcons now own a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they host Amsterdam for a Section 2 Big Ten outing on Friday, February 8. Albany will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 79-62 league loss to Bishop Maginn (Albany, NY). The Rams record now stands at 7-11.
