Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), 79-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Mount View upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Winslow (Winslow, ME) to play the Black Raiders in a B North bout on Wednesday, February 9. The Black Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Winslow lost 66-40 in their recent non-league bout against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)

Next up, the Huskies play the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) in a B North bout, on Thursday, February 10. Maine Central Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME).
