Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette crushes Comeaux
February 8, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70506 Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), 87-12 in a league bout.
With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Lions travel to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to play the Yellowjackets in a 5A District 3 bout on Friday, February 11. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 14-8. New Iberia lost 50-39 in their recent league bout against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 bout, on Friday, February 11. Comeaux will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 11-13 record after their 50-39 league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).
