Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Philip Barbour's basketball squad hold off Point Pleasant by a count of 64-57.

With the victory, Philip Barbour upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV) to play the Polar Bears in a Big Ten challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Fairmont Senior won 53-41 in their recent league challenge against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)

Next up, the Big Blacks play the River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 90-55 league loss to Vinton County (McArthur, OH).
