Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greenville overwhelmed by Union Area
February 8, 2023: New Castle, PA 16101 The Greenville Trojans basketball team (Greenville, PA), was overwhelmed 58-21 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA)
The Scotties now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eden Christian Academy for a WPIAL 1A 1 battle on Thursday, February 9. Union Area will confront a team coming off a 66-44 league loss to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The record now stands at 4-12.
The Trojans (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 4 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Sharon was overwhelmed by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 62-30, in a league battle.
