Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Lincoln North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE) and the host Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), saw Lincoln North Star's basketball team get by Grand Island by a score of 59-52.

The Navigators now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Southwest for a A District TBD contest on Saturday, February 10. Lincoln North Star will battle a Silver Hawks team coming off a 65-43 league win over Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Silver Hawks record now stands at 12-6.

The Islanders (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Norris (Firth, NE). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 16-2 record.
