Nebraska High School Basketball - Osceola holds off Heartland
February 8, 2024: Henderson, NE 68371 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) and the host Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE), saw Osceola's basketball squad hold off Heartland by a tally of 44-43.
With the victory, Osceola improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Shelby-Rising City lost 55-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Thayer Central (Hebron, NE)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) in a C2 District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Heartland will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 57-35 non-league win over Milford (Milford, NE).
