Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), 56-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Ingomar upgrades its record to 21-9 on the season. The Falcons host Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a 2A Region 2 bout on Friday, February 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 19-8. Calhoun City won 85-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bruce (Bruce, MS)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 85-57 non-league loss to Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS).
