Missouri High School Basketball - Montrose holds off Sherwood
February 8, 2024: Creighton, MO 64739 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Montrose Blue Jays (Montrose, MO) and the host Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO), saw Montrose's basketball squad hold off Sherwood by a tally of 55-50.
With the victory, Montrose improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Blue Jays travel to Kingsville (Kingsville, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Kingsville won 72-37 in their recent league challenge against Chilhowee (Chilhowee, MO)
Next up, the Marksmen confront the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs (El Dorado Springs, MO) in a Ozark Highlands challenge, on Monday, February 12. Sherwood will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 50-35 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, MO).
