Nebraska High School Basketball - Norfolk holds off Columbus
February 8, 2024: Columbus, NE 68601 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) and the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), saw Norfolk's basketball squad hold off Columbus by a tally of 39-36.
With the victory, Norfolk improves its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Silver Hawks in a A District TBD challenge on Friday, February 9. The Silver Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Lincoln Southwest won 59-24 in their recent league challenge against Columbus (Columbus, NE)
Next up, the Discoverers confront the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record.
