South Dakota High School Basketball - Parker knocked off by St. Mary
February 8, 2024: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Parker Pheasants to 45 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corsica/Stickney for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. St. Mary will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-10.
The Pheasants (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Cossacks enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Sioux Valley ran past Deuel (Clear Lake, SD), 70-26, in a league contest.
