Iowa High School Basketball - Center Point-Urbana can't hold off Monticello
February 8, 2025: Center Point, IA 52213 Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA), 49-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Monticello advances its record to 17-7 on the year. The Panthers host Camanche (Camanche, IA) to face the Indians in a River Valley match on Tuesday, February 11. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-16. Camanche lost 95-63 in their recent league match against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA)
The Stormin' Pointers now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benton for a WAMAC - West challenge on Tuesday, February 11.
