Illinois High School Basketball - Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley fells Cissna Park
February 8, 2025: Cissna Park, IL 60924 The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons basketball team scored 82 points and limited the host Cissna Park Timberwolves to 67 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now have a 16-10 record. They play next when they host Tri-Valley for a Heart of Illinois game on Friday, February 14. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 54-50 league win over Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, Cissna Park falls to 6-20 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to South Newton (Kentland, IN) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 1-13. South Newton lost 63-34 in their recent non-league game against Pioneer (Royal Center, IN)
