Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 41-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northfield advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Norsemen host Bluffton (Bluffton, IN) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 9-5.

The Comets now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton Central for a Hoosier Heartland match on Friday, February 14. Eastern will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-16.
