The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) and the visiting Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), observed Livingston's basketball team overcome Newark Central by a margin of 56-38.

The Lancers (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, West Essex dropped by Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ), 71-64, in a non-league challenge.
