The Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) basketball toppled the host Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), 68-48 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mounties now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Millburn for a Super Essex - Colonial bout on Thursday, January 16. Montclair will play a Millers team coming off a 74-57 league win over North Star Academy (Newark, NJ). The Millers record now stands at 6-4.
