The Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) basketball edged the visiting Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE), 56-55 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gretna for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. Pius X will play a Dragons team coming off a 77-61 non-league loss to Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Millard West falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bryan (Omaha, NE) to play the Bears in a A District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-19. Bryan lost 101-72 in their recent league bout against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE)
