In Saturday's league contest, the host Northwest Area Rangers basketball team scored a big 75-41 triumph over the Sullivan County Griffins.

The Rangers (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Bloomsburg smashed Midd-West (Middleburg, PA), 65-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Griffins confront the Wyalusing Valley Rams (Wyalusing, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11.
