New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Boys tops Mekeel Christian Academy
February 9, 2023: Albany, NY 12208 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) and the visiting Mekeel Christian Academy Lions (Schenectady, NY), saw Albany Academy for Boys's basketball squad knock off Mekeel Christian Academy by a count of 67-59.
With the victory, Albany Academy for Boys upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Cadets host Catholic Central (Troy, NY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. Catholic Central won 65-59 in their recent league challenge against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY)
Next up, the Lions play the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Mekeel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 46-42 non-league win over Averill Park (Averill Park, NY).
