February 9, 2023: Iota, LA 70543 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) and the visiting Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), saw Iota's basketball squad overcome Mamou by a tally of 65-51.
With the victory, Iota improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to confront the Bears in a 3A District 4 challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-18.
Next up, the Demons confront the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Mamou will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 65-43 non-league loss to Tioga (Tioga, LA).
