The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Bethel Wildcats to 55 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillhouse for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Notre Dame Catholic will meet a Academics team coming off a 62-9 non-league win over Career Magnet (New Haven, CT). The Academics record now stands at 9-8.

The Wildcats (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels enter the Southwest - Patriot contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, New Fairfield ran past Berlin (Berlin, CT), 49-47, in a non-league contest.
