Nebraska High School Basketball - Gering nudges McCook

Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 49-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gering upgrades its record to 5-16 on the season. The Bulldogs host North Platte (North Platte, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-16. North Platte lost 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 60-52 non-league win over North Platte (North Platte, NE).
