The Cumberland Clippers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 60 in the Clippers league triumph on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Hendricken for a Division 1 contest on Tuesday, February 13.

The Thunderbolts (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, La Salle Academy ran past Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 89-52, in a league match.
