January 10, 2024: North Kingstown, RI 02852 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) and the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), saw North Kingstown's basketball squad hold off Cumberland by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, North Kingstown improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Skippers host Barrington (Barrington, RI) to confront the Eagles in a Division 1 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Barrington won 56-46 in their recent league challenge against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)
Next up, the Clippers confront the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 56-46 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, RI).
