February 9, 2024: Woodburn, OR 97071 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodburn Bulldogs (Woodburn, OR) and the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), saw Woodburn's basketball squad hold off Crescent Valley by a count of 62-56.
With the victory, Woodburn upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McKay (Salem, OR) to play the Royal Scots in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. McKay lost 73-58 in their recent league challenge against Dallas (Dallas, OR)
Next up, the Raiders play the Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Crescent Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 54-49 league loss to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR).
