January 19, 2024: Independence, OR 97351 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Panthers (Independence, OR) and the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), saw Central's basketball squad overcome Crescent Valley by a tally of 51-41.
With the victory, Central improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to McKay (Salem, OR) to confront the Royal Scots in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. McKay won 66-60 in their recent league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
Next up, the Raiders confront the West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Monday, January 22. Crescent Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 55-43 league win over South Albany (Albany, OR).
