Illinois High School Basketball - Riverdale overwhelms Erie-Prophetstown
February 9, 2024: Port Byron, IL 61275 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) and the visiting Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL), saw Riverdale's basketball squad wallop Erie-Prophetstown by a tally of 76-42.
With the victory, Riverdale improves its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Hall (Spring Valley, IL) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Hall lost 72-39 in their recent league challenge against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Monday, February 12. Erie-Prophetstown will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 13-15 record after their 65-62 league loss to Orion (Orion, IL).
