Illinois High School Basketball - Morrison nudges Riverdale
January 26, 2024: Port Byron, IL 61275 In Friday's league outing, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) basketball squad edged the host Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), by a margin of 65-60.
The Mustangs (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers - West outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, Sherrard held off Orion (Orion, IL), 57-50, in a league outing.
The Rams now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Dubuque for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Riverdale will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 92-31 league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 14-10.
