Illinois High School Basketball - Morrison can't hold off Sherrard
December 5, 2023: Sherrard, IL 61281 The Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Morrison Mustangs to 39 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams enter the Three Rivers - West contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Riverdale nudged Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 55-49, in a league contest.
