The Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) basketball felled the host Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 39-31 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Boone Grove thwarted Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN), 64-54, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to River Forest for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Lowell will encounter a Ingots squad coming off a 67-48 league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Ingots record now stands at 6-12.
