Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 51-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Hanover Central upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Gary West Side (Gary, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Gary West Side lost 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
