Indiana High School Basketball - Highland nips River Forest

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) and the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), saw Highland's basketball squad hold off River Forest by a tally of 65-58.

With the victory, Highland improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hammond Academy of Science & Tech (Hammond, IN) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Hammond Academy of Science & Tech won 39-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Lighthouse College Prep Academy (Gary, IN)

Next up, the Ingots play the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Friday, December 1. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 56-33 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, IN).
