Indiana High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Wheeler

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) and the host Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Wheeler by a count of 49-26.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 26. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Calumet New Tech lost 71-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Portage (Portage, IN)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Oregon-Davis Bobcats (Hamlet, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 22. Wheeler will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 0-7 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN).
