Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) and the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), saw Calumet New Tech's basketball squad overcome River Forest by a tally of 56-48.

With the victory, Calumet New Tech improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to confront the Fighting Eagles in a Greater South Shore challenge on Friday, January 12. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Lake Station Edison lost 56-36 in their recent league challenge against Whiting (Whiting, IN)
