The Hanover Central Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles to 32 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrean for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Hanover Central will meet a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 63-48 league win over Highland (Highland, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 7-6.

The Fighting Eagles (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Ingots enter the Greater South Shore contest with a 3-7 record.
