The La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA) varsity basketball team lost Friday's home conference game against Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA) by a score of 66-46.
The Neumann-Goretti Saints basketball team scored 66 points and held the host La Salle College Explorers to 46 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Saturday, February 10. Neumann-Goretti will meet a Friars/Pandas team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA). The Friars/Pandas record now stands at 10-11.
The Explorers (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders enter the Philadelphia Catholic contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Father Judge was outscored by Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA), 81-60, in a league contest.
