South Dakota High School Basketball - White River overwhelms St. Francis Indian
February 9, 2024: White River, SD 57579 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the White River Tigers (White River, SD) and the visiting St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD), saw White River's basketball squad wallop St. Francis Indian by a tally of 79-29.
With the victory, White River improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jones County (Murdo, SD) to confront the Coyotes in a B Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Jones County won 46-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. St. Francis Indian will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 64-8 non-league win over Takini (Howes, SD).
