South Dakota High School Basketball - White River crushes Bennett County
January 23, 2024: White River, SD 57579 White River Tigers (White River, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), 69-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, White River upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers host Colome (Colome, SD) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Colome lost 50-25 in their recent non-league bout against Jones County (Murdo, SD)
Next up, the Warriors play the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) in a A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 26. Bennett County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
