South Dakota High School Basketball - Bennett County overwhelms Colome
January 20, 2024: Colome, SD 57528 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD) and the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), saw Bennett County's basketball squad wallop Colome by a tally of 70-28.
With the victory, Bennett County improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to White River (White River, SD) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. White River lost 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Freeman (Freeman, SD)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Colome will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 41-21 league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD).
