North Carolina High School Basketball - Person fells Eastern Alamance
February 9, 2024: Roxboro, NC 27573 Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC), 68-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Person upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to play the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Western Alamance won 59-33 in their recent league bout against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Eastern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC).
